Bolinas Lagoon Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study Meeting information | Maps and images | Other resouces | Project history This is an exciting time for the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary as we embark on a historic partnership with the Army Corps of Engineers and Marin County Open Space District. Our goal is to develop a Locally Preferred Plan that will address human impacts and maintain a healthy lagoon ecosystem. Through the efforts and dedication of the Working Group, a Draft Plan has been developed. The tentative release date for the final plan is scheduled for July 31, 2008. Sanctuary Advisory Council (SAC)meeting
July 25, 2008, 9:00am - 4:30pm The Red Barn Classroom, Pt. Reyes, CA Agenda (128 KB PDF) The Bolinas Lagoon Ecosystem Restoration Project will be presented to the SAC in July. The SAC will review and discuss the recommendations. Once approved, the recommendations will be forwarded onto the GFNMS Superintendent. If you have further comments regarding the plan, there will be a public comment period at the SAC meeting.
