There are many ways to explore the sanctuaries even if you can't get out in a boat. Many beaches, overlooks and other access areas allow you to reach out and touch the Sanctuary, enjoy its views and see its diverse wildlife. The Sanctuary's visitor centers are one of the first places to start to learn about this ocean wilderness beyond the Golden Gate.
